Other Fruit questions answered
When are they ripe?
Our other fruit options are ripe at varying times. The apples are ready around late September - mid October. Watermelon and cantaloupe is usually ready in mid - late summer. Most of the other fruit is still growing.
How to upick other fruit?
We usually have We-Pick available upon request.
We don't offer U-Pick on any of our "other fruit" besides the apples.
You may U-Pick on the designated ripe apple trees.
Please don't pick or let your kids pick the apples before we've announced they're ready.
Head to the checkout stand and grab a couple buckets. Line the buckets with a bag. This makes it easier to take your fruit home, and help with the cleaning process. Check the map for ripe trees. Pick apples from "ripe trees." They can be twisted or lifted away from the branch, please don't pull down. Please respect our farm, by not yanking the apples off aggressively and being gentle on the trees.
Lastly, bring your bounty back to the checkout stand, weigh your bucket or box. The scale is price calculating, place your bucket or box on the scale, & press the appropriate button, log your fruit in the log book, and pay, rounding to the closest $0.50!

Facts about our field
Some of the apple trees were planted about 10 years ago, they are wonderful producers.
We planted 30 fruit trees in 2020. Soon, they too will be great producers.
Are you open?
Being open is based on factors we can't control.
1.Weather - which affects ripening and growing.
2.How much is picked - we can never know how many people will want to pick any given day.
That being said, there will be days we close the field to allow for ripening.
You can check Facebook, Google, or our Voicemail to make sure we're open before your visit.
